Program Manager
Tata Consultancy Services
(The parent company of Tata Consultancy Services Japan)
Delivering the best-in-class IT services to Mitsubishi Corporation Group from Pune, India, the Silicon Valley of the East
As a program manager with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), I have had the privilege of
working closely with the TCS Japan team at Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) and it has been an
incredibly rewarding experience. I have been involved in engagements with new clients,
project management, and transition of new projects. I connected with the Japan-centric
Delivery Center (JDC) in 2016 and have since completed the transition of projects and
activities, and managed them successfully.
We have implemented a process improvement plan by automating a task that was previously
performed manually. It has helped save time and reduced errors. We have also implemented
process improvements to help reduce the time taken to perform the task and improve the
quality, which in turn has improved customer satisfaction.
I look forward to continuing to work with my team members to provide services that satisfy
our customers.

Japan-centric Delivery Center in Pune
Pune, a city in India, is known as the Oxford of the East and is a center of education and
research that is growing at a remarkable rate, especially the IT industry.
My work base is located at Sahyadri Park (SP), part of the Hinjewadi Tech Park in Pune. In
order to have customers take full advantage of TCS' extensive capabilities, Japan-centric
Delivery Centers (JDCs) were established at several of TCS' major bases, and one of these
centers is located in SP.
I operate from MC’s Offshore Delivery Center (ODC), which is one of the first ODCs setup in
JDC. At MC's ODC, we have the "Three Corporate Principles," the philosophy of the Mitsubishi
Group, and work with pride, committed to and resonating with MC’s philosophy and
principles.
The delivery center is focused on the Japanese unit and is encouraging more and more members
to learn the Japanese language, culture, and business customs which ensure smooth
transactions between local workers and their Japanese counterparts.
Apart from its scenic location, the facility also boasts the Tata Research Development and
Design Center (TRDDC). The organization is focused on getting the current workforce
upskilled on technologies across different domains in order to cater to new market
requirements.
In Pune, there are several sports and dance forms that are popular with local people. One of
the most popular sports is cricket. Pune has a rich cricketing culture, and you can find
numerous cricket clubs and tournaments happening throughout the year.
In addition to cricket, football is also gaining popularity in Pune. The city has its own
football team, Pune FC, which participates in various national leagues and tournaments.
As for dance forms, Lavani is a traditional folk dance that originated in Maharashtra and is
particularly popular in Pune. It is a vibrant and energetic dance form performed to the beat
of the
dholki
(a percussion instrument). You can often find cultural events and performances where Lavani dancers showcase their skills.

My interests outside of work
My hobbies are photography, reading books, and playing football. More recent interests
include traveling, exploring different cultures, and health & fitness. When it comes to
heritage sites near Pune, there are several places I can recommend. One of them is the
Sinhagad Fort. Perched on a hill, the Sinhagad Fort offers sweeping views of the surrounding
landscape. It has historical significance as it was the site of several battles during the
Maratha Empire.
I like to spend my days off engaging in activities like hiking, playing sports, socializing
with friends & family, and spending time with loved ones.
